Why choose hardy’s home cleaning?

We have over 10 years of experience in domestic cleaning around the Melbourne area. We provide high quality home cleaning service to the majority of Melbourne suburbs. Our cleaners are all friendly, qualified, professional with police checks, who work at a high standard to ensure our customers are satisfied.

What do we charge?

We charge by an hourly rate, for a minimum of two hours. There is no quote, tell us approximately how long you think it will take to clean your house and we’ll clean according to that timeframe. If that time is not enough, we can further discuss the required time.

How can I trust your teams?

We only hire experienced cleaners who we personally interview, and who meet our high standards. All our staff members also have police checks and background checks.

What happens if you damage or break something in my house?

We are fully insured by public insurance, which covers both property and personally injury. However, our teams are extremely careful and very rarely cause damage, as our teams understand that many items may hold sentimental value.

How do I pay for the cleaning service?

Payment is due at the conclusion of every clean. We accept cash, cheque and bank transfer.

Do you guarantee a quality service?

We expect high standards form from all of our teams and expect them to provide the best service possible. Therefore, if you are unsatisfied with the service you’ve received, please get in contact with us within 24 hours so we can evaluate the issues and schedule a re-clean free of charge.

What is your cancellation policy?

We require 24 hours advanced notice for free cancellation. If less than 24 hours advanced notice was given, we will charge a cancellation fee of $35.

Who supplies the cleaning products?

We have our own equipment and general cleaning products which we will clean with.

What if I prefer to use my cleaning instead?

If you have specific cleaning products that you want us to use, or if you would prefer we only use your cleaning products, please let us know and have them available and accessible at the time of your clean.

Are your teams able to work in homes with pets?

Absolutely! We only request that you inform us of any pets and that the pets let us do our jobs.

Will my house be cleaned by the same team each time?

We will try to ensure the same team cleans your house every time, however, if you’re not satisfied with your assigned team, we can assign another team.

Do I need to be present when you are cleaning?

That depends on you, if you prefer to be present, that’s fine, if you’re happy not being present, that’s fine as well. If you prefer to not be present, please arrange for a way to let the cleaners in. You can arrange a safe location to store keys, alternatively, you can also give spare keys to the cleaning team.
